The 2014 Syrah has a vibrant crimson colour with wild raspberry, blueberry, cracked pepper and hints of vanilla bean on the nose. Powerful and balanced ripe tannins give the wine great structure while the oak plays a supporting role behind natural acidity and pure fruit expression.
Mineral and gamey characters will continue to develop as this wine ages, suitable to drink now or cellar over the next 10 years. Enjoy with slow roasted venison dishes or beef short ribs braised in red wine and herbs.
