NEW RELEASE: 2015 Vintage
This wine is 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache and 25% Mourvedre. It comes primarily from the French Camp Vineyard in Paso Robles, with a good dollop of Grenache from the Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard in the Edna Valley.
This delicious wine is meant early drinking over the next year or so. It is bottled under Stelvin screw cap for easy access, and I never recommend putting screw cap wines in the cellar! The Syrah gives the wine a nice berry/spice character, the Grenache a more lifted wild cherry component and the Mourvedre an earthy, smoked meat note.
I can’t think of a better wine to serve with grilled Dodger dogs!
