This is a classic Southern Rhone style blend but, from
grapes grown in a cooler climate. The result is a more elegant
expression of this type of wine. The aromas show wild cherry, hard
spice with hints of smoked meat and lavender. It is medium bodied
and goes well with the same kinds of foods that you would serve
with Pinot Noir…grilled salmon comes to mind! It has great
balance and will benefit nicely from 8-15 years of bottle age.
