Maison L’Orée Bourgogne Rouge is produced from vineyards running along the lower slopes of both the Côte de Nuits, the northern part of the Côte d’Or, and the Côte de Beaune, the southern part of the Côte d’Or. The Côte d’Or, known to produce some of the best wines in the world, is situated in the heart of the old province of Burgundy, southeast of Paris, with vineyards facing east and southeast. The vines range in age from 56 to 88 years and are farmed sustainably. This delicious wine is an easy drinking, everyday Pinot Noir that is fresh and approachable on the palate. It delivers silky tannins, nice acidity and bright red fruit, such as sour cherry and cranberry. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
