2009 Agharta Farella Cabernet Sauvignon Image

2009 Agharta Farella Cabernet Sauvignon

Located in the sexy new Coombsville appellation in southern Napa Valley, this is a brilliant place for my kind of Cabernet Sauvignon. Rocky depleted soils, cool breezy coastal influence from the San Pablo Bay and the brilliance and warmth of the singular Napa Valley.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Vibrant black summer fruits…blackberries, black cherries, plums and black currants… A complete mélange of fresh fruit loaded with Cabernet Herbs and spices and a sweet kiss of French Oak. Supple and dense, this wine has more in common with old school versions of California Cabernet Sauvignon than it does with the flashy modern versions.
Vineyard Notes
Volcanic Soil, loaded with Volcanic Rock
Winemaker Notes
50% of Blend saw 45 days of Extended-Maceration
